As many of you are aware, 2018 is a year of transformation for ASQ, and SQD’s leadership team is working to be a positive influence in that transformation and to position our division for success in the coming new environment. While there are still many unknowns on the larger scale, our initiatives within the division are focused on delivering more content to you and include:
I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve as SQD Chair for the next 2 years, and I look forward to engaging with as many of you as possible. SQD is fortunate to have always had a team of dedicated and skilled leaders setting our direction, and I’d like to thank Leia Patzernuk for her work as Chair over the past 2 years. She set the bar high, and I feel lucky that she will continue to provide guidance as both immediate past chair and internet chair. Chair-elect Rob Houle has already served the division in every elected role, but likes us so much that he’s back for another round, and we will look to him to help drive our business plan.
The entire leadership team looks forward to seeing many of you at WCQI in Seattle, and we hope any of you who are there will come talk to us at our booth and also join in the business meeting/annual luncheon. (Registered WCQI attendees will see more details shortly.)
